White Dog was complaining. "Good dog, dad is up an hour earlier than normal. It is Sunday to boot..." Then she remembered and her complaint turned to a call to wakefulness for the White Dog Army, "BREAKFAST IS GOING TO BE EARLY! The humans are trying to control nature with their clocks again so get ready for morning yums VERY SOON!" The WDA jumped from beds and hurried to get ready.
After breakfast, Zsofia came to me for clarification. "Is just breakfast early, or will treats be ahead of schedule as well?" Her joyful gratitude was visible at my nod that treats would seem early as well.
Tizenegy was found standing in the kitchen at four o'clock bib already round his neck. Steve said, "My boy, I have good news and bad news. Yes, dinner will also be an hour early but that is still THREE hours away. You just had treats."
Bailey wasn't buying it. "It is a game of perception," she tried to explain to her siblings. "WD was right about breakfast but it was a one time thing from jumping ahead an hour. But the INTERVALS between breakfast and treats and dinner are the same as always...and after today things will be just the same as always if you look at the number of hours from meal to the next." She was right, but the WDA loved the idea that they were somehow benefiting.

I reached down and rubbed the side of Bai's face. "Sorry, my girl, often, no one wants to hear what the truth sayer has to share...but you are right."
