And she was right. I gathered the WDA together and gave out an extra round of duck jerky to hold them over until dinner. They loved the extra treats but were less than enthusiastic with the news that Steve would be an hour and a half late getting home (late meeting) and consequently dinner would be pushed back.
Tizenegy actually began to cry. Opal yipped that SHE hoped that they would be properly compensated for this atrocity. Bella spoke for the rest as she put on her mask of stoic resignation and slumped to conserve her strength.
